Order Policy

A minimum of 3 days' notice is required for orders. Larger, highly customized, or specialty orders may require additional notice.

Availability is not guaranteed and depends on the date, order size, and current booking schedule. Submitting an order request does not guarantee your date until your order has been confirmed.

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your order and secure your date.

Why is a deposit required? Your 50% deposit secures your date and allows us to purchase the ingredients, packaging, and design supplies needed specifically for your order. Your order and date are NOT officially reserved until the 50% deposit has been received.

The deposit is applied toward your total order balance. The remaining 50% balance is due at delivery or at the arranged public meet-up.

Deposits are refundable if you cancel at least 3 days before your scheduled fulfillment date.

Cancellations made less than 3 days before the scheduled fulfillment date are not eligible for a deposit refund, as supplies may have already been purchased and preparation may have begun.

If Sugarcoated STL must cancel an order, any payments made toward that order will be refunded.

Sugarcoated STL specializes in handmade, custom treats. Inspiration photos are welcome and help communicate your preferred theme, colors, and style.

Because every item is handmade, exact replicas cannot be guaranteed. Colors, patterns, placement, decorations, and other details may vary slightly from inspiration photos, mockups, or previous work.

Any digital mockups or example images displayed on our website are intended as design references. Final handmade products may vary.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your order.

Changes to quantities, flavors, colors, designs, dates, or other details are subject to availability and may change the final price. Changes may not be possible once supplies have been purchased or preparation has begun.

Sugarcoated STL does not offer customer pickup from a residential address.

Orders will be exchanged at an agreed-upon public meet-up location or delivered when delivery is available. The location, date, time, and any applicable delivery fee will be confirmed with the customer before the order is completed.

Customers are responsible for arriving at the agreed-upon time. Please contact Sugarcoated STL as soon as possible if you are running late.

Once an order has been transferred to the customer, the customer is responsible for proper handling, transportation, and storage.

Sugarcoated STL is not responsible for damage caused after the order has been transferred, including damage caused by heat, improper storage, transportation, handling, or leaving products in a vehicle.

Sugarcoated STL products are prepared in a kitchen where common food allergens may be present. Ingredients and products may contain or come into contact with allergens such as milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens.

Customers are responsible for informing Sugarcoated STL of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before placing or confirming an order.

While we are happy to discuss ingredient concerns, Sugarcoated STL cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact.

Holiday boxes and other limited-time offerings are available while supplies and booking availability last.

Designs, quantities, ordering deadlines, and prices may vary by collection. An order is not reserved until the 50% deposit has been received and the order has been confirmed.
